Not knowing how much your legal fees will be can be scary. We are often asked how much will my divorce cost?  This completely depends on the level of conflict you have and the willingness of the parties to make agreements instead of argue every point in court.

We want our clients to know what they are spending from the beginning of their case with no surprises. For amicable divorces we offer flat fee payment upfront as follows.  Which package is right for you depends on your situation:

Non-Litigated Divorce Packages

Package #1

$2,000

  • Have lived apart for 180/365* days
  • Uncontested
  • WITHOUT issues regarding children and other incidental matters
  • Includes drafting of petition for divorce and obtaining final divorce judgment.
  • No Property Separation
  • Plus an additional flat fee of $500 to cover the administrative, postage, copying, filing and court costs. Does not include cost of service by sheriff, if needed.

  • Intend to live apart for 180/365* days
  • Uncontested
  • WITHOUT issues regarding children and other incidental matters
  • Includes drafting of petition for divorce and obtaining final divorce judgment.
  • No Property Separation
  • Plus an additional flat fee of $700 to cover the administrative, postage, copying, filing and court costs. Does not include cost of service by sheriff, if needed.

DIVORCE COACHING/DOCUMENT REVIEW: $250   Meet with an attorney before making the decision to leave and know your rights. Have an attorney review the documents filed in your case, without getting full representation. Or, if you are doing the work yourself, get help to make sure you are filing the paperwork correctly.
